Exhorter Olusola Olajide was born in Nigeria and moved to New York in 1974. She later relocated to this area in 1996. She is a retired professional in child protective services and early childhood education, with more than 20 years of dedicated service.

She is a devoted member of the Preston Circuit Charge, which includes Ross Chapel and Coppins A.M.E. Church. Her current pastor is Rev. Jay D. Young, and she has been a member of the charge since relocating to Maryland.

Her ministries for the Lord include teaching Adult Church School and serving in the Prayer Ministry. She also serves on the Steward Board, the Stewardess Board, and the Ministerial Staff as a licensed Exhorter. She enjoys making a joyful noise unto the Lord. In addition, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and cooking for others.

One of her favorite scriptures is Psalm 103:1: “Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name.” Her favorite hymn is “Abide with Me.”
