Our Prayer Calls grew out of a simple moment years ago when a member facing surgery asked, "Pastor, can we pray together before I go in?" We gathered on the phone that evening, just a handful of voices, and by the time we said amen, we knew God had knit us together in a new way. What started as one call has become a regular lifeline of hope.
When you dial in, you'll hear familiar names and new voices sharing brief requests and testimonies before we pray. Some are at kitchen tables, some in cars after work, others sitting quietly by a bedside. Together we lift up families, health concerns, financial needs, school challenges, and unspoken burdens. These calls blend the heart of prayer evangelism and our intercessory prayer group. We not only bring our own needs to God, we also stand in the gap for neighbors, co-workers, and loved ones who may never join the line themselves. We call their names, ask God to break chains, and speak messages of hope and faith over their lives.
Many have testified that a timely prayer call carried them through nights of loneliness, anxiety, or grief. One grandmother still remembers hearing her grandchildren prayed for by name and realizing she was not carrying them alone. You don't have to pray out loud to belong; listening and agreeing in faith is powerful too. Over time, you may find your own voice growing stronger as you learn to talk with God in community. If your heart is heavy or you simply long to be closer to God, join a Prayer Call. You will hear Scripture, feel the warmth of a praying family, and be reminded that heaven listens when God's people unite in prayer.
