Stanley serves as a Trustee Pro Tem for the Preston Circuit AME Charge, helping to care for the physical spaces that hold so many spiritual memories. He is the appointed member, who steps in to lead the Board of Trustees and handle legal and temporal duties in the absence of the church's pastor. Over more than a hundred years, Ross Chapel and Coppins AME have been sanctuaries for worship, teaching, and community support. Trustees have always stood in the background, making sure that buildings are tended, grounds are cared for, and resources for maintenance are handled wisely so that ministry can continue without distraction.

Stanley carries that responsibility into the present day, working with fellow Trustees to protect and preserve the property entrusted to the church family. His service helps ensure that current and future generations will have safe, welcoming places to gather for prayer, celebration, and service. In quiet but important ways, his work as a Trustee keeps the doors open, the lights on, and the heritage of the circuit ready to receive all who come seeking hope, help, and wholeness.
