Holiday Worship Communion

Holiday Worship Communion

Holiday Worship Communion is where the story of our Savior meets the rhythms of our lives in the most sacred way. On days when the world is stringing lights and gathering around tables, we gather around the Lord's Table to remember the greatest gift ever given. On these special services - Christmas, Resurrection Sunday, and other holy days - the sanctuary carries a different kind of hush. Candles may flicker, familiar hymns rise, and families slip into pews together, some who only see one another a few times a year. Visitors and long-time members sit side by side as we read the Scriptures that tell of Christ's birth, death, and resurrection.

At the heart of it all is Holy Communion. As we break the bread and share the cup, we remember Jesus' body broken and blood shed for us. We invite all who trust in Christ and desire to draw closer to Him to participate. Parents often whisper gentle explanations to their children; elders sometimes wipe tears as memories of holidays long past flood back. One member recalls bringing a relative to a holiday Communion service after years away from church. Hearing the familiar words, "Do this in remembrance of Me," that relative later said, "It felt like coming home." Moments like that are why we open our hearts wide during these gatherings.

Holiday Worship Communion unites individuals, families, and our wider community in faith and celebration. We leave the service not only having sung and listened, but having tasted and seen that the Lord is good. If you long for a holiday experience that is deeper than the rush of shopping and parties, join us. Around Christ's table, strangers become family, memories are renewed, and hope is stirred again.
